Lionel Messi has revealed he would love the chance to play alongside either Gareth Bale or Wayne Rooney, reports ESPN.
The Barcelona star was speaking at the opening of a museum which will display the trophies and awards he has won.
Having been left out of the Manchester United team to face Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night, Rooney’s future has been the subject of much speculation.
In contrast, Tottenham’s Bale has been in superb form this season as he continues to attract the top clubs from around Europe.
It comes as no surprise that Messi would enjoy having either as his team-mate but did admit he doubts either player will leave their respective club any time soon.
