Former Liverpool defender urges club to make move for frequently-linked Spurs target
Ryan Sessegnon’s future at Fulham has been one of the major talking points of the summer transfer window.
The England Under-21 international has just twelve months to run on his existing contract at Craven Cottage and has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Guardian have previously reported that the 19-year-old has already told Fulham that he will not renew his contract and wants to complete a switch to Spurs instead.
Ex-Liverpool defender Steve Nichol, however, has urged his former side to make a move for the left-sided player who would be able to provide competition to Andy Robertson.
