“He can go to Spurs, quite easily” – Former player urges club to make signing
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent believes that Leeds United’s Kalvin Philips would be a success in North London.
Spurs have already raided the Championship outfit when they last week completed a move for Jack Clarke which will see the young winger return to Elland Road on a season long loan deal.
The 23-year-old enjoyed an excellent season at Leeds under manager Marcelo Bielsa and is said to be valued at around £30million (The Sun).
Premier League newcomers Aston Villa have been credited with an interest in the player, with Bent confident that the midfielder would prove to be a shrewd acquisition by Mauricio Pochettino.
