Luton manager hails 22-year-old Spurs loanee as ‘very amiable’
Luton boss Nathan Jones has hailed Spurs loanee, Cameron Carter-Vickers following his short-term switch in January.
The 22-year-old has struggled to make it at Spurs since coming through the academy with only four senior appearances to his name (Transfermarkt).
Carter-Vickers made his fifth loan move of his career when he joined Luton Town in January in an attempt to help the Championship strugglers revive their season.
“Cam’s a good athlete, he’s a good defender and I took him at Stoke after the injury to Ryan Shawcross,” Jones told Luton Today.
“He’s difficult to replace, Shawcross, we went a different route with a different type of defender and Cam has done really well.”
