Manager implies there is a route back into the squad for this Tottenham midfielder
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Dele Alli, has now missed the last two England squads, with Gareth Southgate preferring other stars like Ross Barkley, Mason Mount, and Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Dele has been unfortunate with injuries in recent seasons and has struggled to maintain consistent form in the Spurs starting line up.
However, the midfielder has now fought his way back into Pochettino’s starting XI, shining in the games against Watford and Red Star Belgrade.
Alli has played 90 minutes in three of the last four Premier League games, while starting every single one of the last four (Transfer Markt).
Before that, he was unused for four matches in a row, not even in the squad for one of them.
