Manchester United ‘no longer’ interested in Tottenham defender
Manchester United have suspended a move for Tottenham defender Danny Rose, according to the Telegraph.
Rose has been linked with United ever since he gave a controversial interview last August, in which he criticised Spurs’ ambition in the transfer market.
Tottenham had been expected to sell Rose, Toby Alderweierld and Mousa Dembele this summer in order to fund deals for new recruits.
However, it seems Rose may be staying with Spurs after all.
The Telegraph claims United are no longer interested in the 27-year-old as manager Jose Mourinho does not feel he needs another left-back.
Rose had apparently been hoping to secure a move to Old Trafford, but the report suggests he is now likely to remain a Spurs player beyond the summer.
