Manchester United star striker Wayne Rooney believes that the referee made a mistake giving Liverpool striker Luis Suarez only a yellow card, after the Uruguayan kicked Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Scott Parker in the latter stages of the second half at Anfield.

The Reds faced Spurs in a top 10 clash, where nothing but 3 points would help the home side strengthen a hold on the European qualification places, and nothing but 3 points would help Spurs catch Manchester United in 2nd place in the Barclays Premier League.
The eventual result was a draw, which did not do any favors to either side, but again raised a question about the decisions of the referee.
