Mauricio Pochettino admits to a ‘good relationship’ with Gareth Bale
Gareth Bale’s future at Real Madrid appears to be hanging by a thread after the Welshman fell down the pecking order following the return of Zinedine Zidane as manager of the Spanish giants.
Bale was recently left on the bench for Real’s final game of the season when they slumped to a home defeat to Real Betis.
According to The Sun, Los Blancos are so keen to move the 29-year-old on, they will take an offer where a club pays around £250,000-a-week for Bale’s wages – believed to be in excess of £600,000 – in addition to the £10m fee.
