Mourinho implies that Spurs should have been helped twice by VAR against Liverpool
Tottenham Hotspur took on Liverpool at home in the Premier League yesterday, but were unable to prevent the Reds from extending their lead at the top of the table.
Liverpool have yet to lose a single match this season and have only drawn one out of their 21 games so far, coming against Manchester United.
Plenty has been said about VAR this season, with the technology hitting the headlines particularly for ruling out multiple goals for the tightest of offsides.
However, Jose Mourinho hinted that it should have been used in different ways yesterday in favour of his side and against Liverpool.
Firstly, Jose implied that Andrew Roberton’s challenge on the ankle of Japhet Tanganga should have warranted another look from VAR.
