Report: How Daniel Levy tried to sabotage one of Arsenal’s biggest ever signings
Everyone knows that Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are arch-rivals in North London, but a new report has gone on to show exactly how far this hatred goes.
Daniel Levy is one of the toughest negotiators in world football, but it appears this is not limited to getting the best deals for his club, but also the worst for Arsenal.
Dick Law now claims that when Spurs were selling Gareth Bale to Real Madrid, Daniel Levy attempted to slip in a clause that said Los Blancos could not sell to Arsenal (Goal).
This was around about the time that the Gunners were trying to sign Mesut Ozil from the Spanish giants.
