Report: Spanish heavyweights eye Pochettino as their next manager
Ex-Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has been out of work since late November when Daniel Levy and the Spurs board decided to relieve him of his duties.
The Argentine had managed in North London for five and a half years, talking Spurs from Europa League qualifiers to Champions League finalists in just half a decade.
However, one criticism that was often labelled at the manager was his lack of trophies at Tottenham, losing both of the two finals he qualified for.
Spurs sacked Pochettino and introduced one of the most experienced serial winners in the game, Jose Mourinho, who took up the post just 24 hours later.
Since then, Tottenham have narrowed the gap between themselves and Chelsea in fourth from 12 points to just four.
