Report: West Ham favourites to sign ex-Tottenham striker before window closes
Not many players can list both Tottenham and Arsenal on their CV, but Emmanuel Adebayor is certainly one who can.
The Togo international played for the Gunners between 2005 and 2009, racking up 142 appearances and scoring 62 goals (Wikipedia).
He then transferred to Man City, with his most memorable moment being when he scored against his old club and ran the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of those who used to sing his name (Telegraph).
This would have made him pretty popular among the Spurs faithful, but that increased dramatically when he signed for the club from Real Madrid in 2011.
He went on to play four seasons at Tottenham, clocking up 113 games and scoring 42 goals in his second stint in North London.
