Primary Enterprise sees Tottenham Hotspur using its unique position a...

12-0, triffic

Twitching with happiness. Thoughts and prayers for Lukey Moore, West Ham and Arsenal fans and the HMRC (along with the £8M spent on the investigation to find out if Harry was guilty of evading 30k in tax. Irony and obsession).
Nice touch from the gaffer (during post-court interview) citing the support from the home crowd at the Wigan game.
Obviously, we can concern ourselves with Harry's replacement if leaves for the England job in the summer...when that eventually arrives at the end of the season. In the mean time, we can get back to the football.
Onwards.

If he says run around a bit, you must acquit: Harry Redknapp cleared on tax evasion charges

Harry Redknapp is apparently not a tax evader, or apparently not enough of an ill-intending, obvious tax evader to get in trouble. Redknapp and former Portsmouth FC owner Milan Mandaric have been cleared of all charges in their tax evasion case. Everything should get back to normal at Tottenham Hotspur shortly, which is really awesome, considering that the team has looked a bit shaky late in the games where Redknapp has not been in charge.
If you haven't been following along with this case, Mandaric gave Redknapp a couple of payments. He told 'Arry to open up a bank account in Monaco for one of them. The defense successfully argued that the money Mandaric gave to Redknapp as a friendly gesture and that the payment did not have...

Redknapp Cleared Of All Charges!

It’s the news we all wanted to hear as Harry Redknapp and Milan Mandaric were today found not guilty and cleared of all charges in court.
The Jury was out yesterday to get a verdict and today court resumed with both men given the all clear. The prosecution had not done enough to prove without reasonable doubt that the money paid into Harry’s Monaco bank account was a deliberate attempt to evade tax.
Back to business for Harry now, great news for the FA no doubt who will now come knocking on the door in the summer to take Harry away from Spurs.

Harry Redknapp profile: so old-school he feels like a breath of fresh air

The Tottenham Hotspur manager, one of football's 'great survivors', has been talked of as the next England coachHarry James Redknapp has grown to find his portrayal at the hands of the press rather distasteful. At least one reporter has made the mistake recently of referring to him as a "wheeler-dealer" prompting him to stomp off in disgust, his hackles raised by all the tired barrow-boy, Arthur Daley analogies. These days, he argues, he should be considered solely as "a fantastic football manager".That attempt at reinvention has been set back at Southwark crown court. Both prosecution and, to some extent, defence have tapped into the perception of the best English manager of the modern era over the past two weeks, the crown seeking to expo...

Bale sale back in spotlight

Some areas of the press are suggesting that it hasn’t been such a stellar year for Gareth Bale in comparison with last season. Those reports tend to just point to the winger’s hat trick in the San Siro but they conveniently forget that this has been a much more consistent campaign for the Welshman.
Sadly, it seems that Bale’s performances in 2011-12 haven’t escaped the attentions of Barcelona and some newspapers are hinting at a £50m bid from the Catalans this summer. Manager Pep Guardiola may see the player as a crucial piece of his jigsaw particularly if his side fail to capture La Liga at the end of the current campaign.
As part of the deal, Barca are rumoured to be prepared to offer Cristian Tello, a 20 year old forward with two first ...
