Ryan Mason: Hull star forced to RETIRE on doctor’s advice after horror head injury

Mason fractured his skull in an away game at Chelsea early last year.
The Tigers midfield star underwent surgery after a clash of heads with Blues defender Gary Cahill.
He’s not played since, and Hull have today announced Mason, 27, has been forced to call time on his career.
The Championship club wrote in a statement: “It is with deep regret that the Club has to announce that, following the head injury suffered on 22nd January 2017, Ryan Mason is to retire from football with immediate effect.
