Spurs fans will not like what Paul Merson just said about their top-four hopes
Tottenham Hotspur are in a tricky situation regarding their attacking midfielder, Christian Eriksen, as the player has already revealed that he wants to leave the club (Ekstra Bladet).
Spurs aren’t in much of a position to debate either, as the Great Dane has just one year left on his current contract before he can leave North London on a free.
This also means that he can talk to European, non-Prem, teams come January 2020 about a freebie move in the summer.
Tottenham will have until the summer of 2020 to convince Eriksen to sign a new deal, or they could attempt to cash in on him in the next few weeks.
The transfer windows in Spain, Italy, France, and Germany do not shut until September 2, giving Spurs over two weeks to sell the play...
