Spurs first teamer ruled out for at least two months
Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt a massive injury blow with the news that they will be without Jan Vertonghen until at least the start of December.
The central defender sustained a hamstring injury during the first half of the Premier League win at Huddersfield Town late last month before being replaced at half time by Harry Winks.
He has been undergoing rehabilitation since which has seen him miss the matches against Barcelona and Cardiff City.
Tottenham’s prognosis of a full return to training by December will effectively rule out the Belgian of the remainder of our Champions League group stage with only a slight chance he could be ready to face Barcelona at the Nou Camp on December 11th.
