Spurs to break Premier League attendance record
We are expected to break the 10-year-old Premier League attendance record when Bournemouth visit Wembley this weekend
According to an article in The Daily Mail, ticket sales are fast closing in on the current record of 76,098, set in a game between Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers at Old Trafford in March 2007.
The 90,000 capacity stadium has 158 areas and only five of them still have limited availability of tickets for the clash against the struggling Cherries.
The article says Spurs will likely fall short of the club record attendance of 85,512, set of course by Tottenham at Wembley against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League last season.
