‘That would be perfect’ – Striker admits he would love to work under Mourinho
Watford striker, Troy Deeney has admitted that he would love to work under Jose Mourinho, who he considers to be one of the best coaches in the world.
Deeney, who is currently plying his trade in the Championship, is looking to bounce straight back up with the Hornets after their relegation from the Premier League last season.
It appeared as if the striker would jump ship in the summer after Watford failed to maintain their Premier League status.
Multiple reports claimed (The Athletic and Football Insider) that the experienced striker was being eyed up by Tottenham as a back up to Harry Kane but the North Londoners eventually snapped up Carlos Vinicius on loan from Benfica.
