Guardiola has expressed interest in a number of players such as Valencia midfielder Jordi Alba and AC Milan defender Thiago Silva as well as Brazilian ­superstar Neymar to strengthen his team’s forward line. Gareth Bale, however, is on top of his shopping list and Barcelona are ready to offer young forwards Isaac Cuenca and Cristian Tello and midfielder Jonathan Dos Santos on sale to finance Bale transfer. Alternatively, they may propose a players-plus-cash offer.
